Common Land Choir
The Story
The Goose and the Common is an 18th-century protest song about the loss of common land. More than 250 years later, its message feels as relevant as ever.
We recorded it in support of the campaign to save Felton Common — a 100-acre nature reserve, wildlife habitat and community space threatened by Bristol Airport's expansion plans.
The song, recording and video were produced entirely by volunteers, standing together to protect a place that belongs to everyone.
